The aim of this module is to provide students with theoretical concepts, tools and knowledge of the aviation regulatory environment to manage global logistics and cargo operations. Drawing upon concepts of integrated logistic support, this module examines how strategic and tactical decisions of multiple stakeholders can be optimised to meet the current and future changing demands of the air transport industry with specific reference to cargo. Students will learn how decisions are made regarding the transportation and storage of goods and other logistics services, management of information and financial flows, inventory management, warehouses location.
