The HKIAA’s Aircraft Engineering Training Centre has dedicated facilities located at China Aircraft Services Ltd’s hangar at Hong Kong International Airport.
Classroom and workshop facilitates the provision of practical knowledge of aircraft maintenance to trainees in a structured, immersive, and hands‑on environment.
HKIAA, in partnership with Elior Group Derichebourg Aeronautics Services, has also set up at the Aircraft Engineering Training Centre a cabin section of a decommissioned Airbus A319 aircraft where trainees can received hands-on training on the various systems found inside the cabin, including but not limited to seats, windows, and cabin doors, as well as service equipment, galley and food carts, lavatory, emergency and life-saving equipment, water and waste systems, air conditioning, and more.
