Regulatory Framework in Air Transport Industry

This module aims to provide an in-depth exploration of the legal frameworks governing the global aviation industry. It also examines the important legal implications in the operations and development of the air transport industry.

Learning outcomes:

Describe the main actors, institutions, legal structure and processes governing civil aviation activities at domestic and international levels;
Evaluate the legal aspects of air carrier including contracts, liability, insurance, passengers’ rights, and other emerging issues;
Analyse the legal framework for aviation security, safety and airworthiness; and
Analyse the important legal implications in the operations and development of the air transport industry.

This course is one of the modules of Advanced Master in Air Transport Management and allows participants to take the module separately.
