On June 26, the Hong Kong International Aviation Academy (HKIAA) attended the 4th General Meeting of the 1st Council of the Shenzhen Low-Altitude Economy Industry Association (the Association) cum Shenzhen Low-Altitude Economy Achievements Release Conference. Held in Shenzhen, the event was attended by senior leadership from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).
During the conference, HKIAA signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Association and Shenzhen Eastern General Aviation Co., Ltd. (Heli-Eastern). The partnership aims to drive cross-boundary collaboration, cultivate specialised aviation talent, and foster a thriving low-altitude economy ecosystem across the Greater Bay Area (GBA).
Through this collaboration, HKIAA reaffirms its commitment to establishing Hong Kong as a world-class civil aviation training hub and also supporting the sustainable development of the aviation industry in Hong Kong and the wider GBA region
