HKIA Services Holdings Ltd (HKIA SHL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (Vietjet) on 2 July 2026 in Hong Kong. HKIA SHL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Airport Authority Hong Kong, with member companies including Hong Kong International Aviation Academy (HKIAA), HKIA Consultancy Limited (HKIAC) and HKIA Management Limited (HKIAM).
The MOU was signed by HKIA SHL Chief Executive Officer Simon Li and Vietjet Air Vice President Ta Quang Ngoc in the presence of representatives from the Dong Nai Municipal Government, the Consul General of Vietnam in Hong Kong and the Sovico Group.
The MOU paves the way for collaboration between Vietjet and HKIA SHL in a broad range of activities and initiatives, including but not limited to the development of airport cities, airport infrastructure and operations, logistics, innovation, technology and capacity building, fostering a long-term strategic relationship for aviation growth in Vietnam.
