The Hong Kong International Aviation Academy (HKIAA) co-hosted an International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) TRAINAIR PLUS Programme (TPP) China Members Meeting (The Meeting) in Beijing in June, alongside the International Cooperation and Service Center (ICSCC) of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), with the support of the Department of International Affairs of the CAAC.
The Meeting in Beijing was well attended by the other nine Mainland TPP members. During the Meeting, HKIAA was able to share key updates from recent TPSC meetings while fellow TPP members reported on their respective capacity-building initiatives under the TPP framework and exchanged views on the latest programme developments.
Bringing together key players from academia, airlines and aviation technical training, public administration, research and development, this collective network served as an invaluable platform to exchange views on latest training programme development and share global best practices.
As one of the 18 elected members of the ICAO TPSC contributing to the development of capacity building needs, HKIAA is pleased to represent Mainland members and be their voice among the global aviation industry leaders.
