Last week, HKIAA President Simon Li led a delegation to Shenzhen for a visit at Donghai Airlines’ training facilities. The HKIAA delegation was warmly welcomed by Donghai Airlines’ Chairman Huang Chubiao and President Zhang Zhizhong.
The itinerary included visits to Donghai Airlines’ flight simulators and facilities where their crew receive wet drill training.
During the visit, the delegation was able to meet a group of Donghai Airlines pilots currently undergoing an English language proficiency course delivered by HKIAA.
HKIAA also had the opportunity to share about its Cadet Pilot Programme and commercial pilot’s license requirements in Hong Kong. Donghai Airlines also learned about other HKIAA programmes and courses available at its other Training Centres.
After fruitful conversations, both sides committed to explore opportunities for further collaboration on training endeavours.
