Stephen Chan, Graduate, 2023 Professional Diploma in Aviation Management, shares how he made a mid-career transition
Stephen Chan (Stephen) has always been passionate about the aviation industry and optimistic about its prospects and opportunities. Thus, he decided to enrol in the Professional Diploma in Aviation Management. Through vivid case studies shared by experienced instructors, he quickly grasped the programme highlights.
Through the programme, Stephen also met classmates from diverse professional backgrounds. Their interactions not only helped him readjust to academic life but also broadened his network within the industry.

During his studies, Stephen received a recommendation from an instructor and successfully secured a position as an Aviation Account Manager for aviation solutions at an international technology company, embarking on a new dream career. Several of his classmates and Stephen have since enrolled in a top-up degree programme at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) to further enhance their qualifications and boost competitiveness.
