Overview of Aerodrome Emergency Services – Airport Rescue and Firefighting Services

This one-day course outlines the provision of emergency services of a category 10 airport in accordance with international practice. The course material also covers the emergency firefighting, rescue, medical and ambulance services in the Three-Runway System (3RS) at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). A site visit is included to enhance the learning experience.

 

Topics covered:

  • ICAO recommendations for aerodromes emergency services – the setting of airport firefighting and rescue facilities at HKIA
  • Provision of emergency services on-site during construction of the 3RS Project

Remarks

  • For participants who are not Airport Restricted Area Pass (Red) holders, they are required to submit all necessary documents for applying for the “Visitor Permit” on or before 18 August 2022.  Please click here for more information on the required documents
