Human Factors for Air Traffic Control

This five-day course, consisting of lessons, interactive discussions and case studies, aims to impart knowledge and understanding on human performance that is relevant to Air Traffic Control (ATC) based on the curriculum proposed in ICAO Doc 9683 Human Factors Training Manual which will meet the ‘knowledge requirement’ for ATC license applicants.

  • Module 3: The Human Element (Aviation Psychology)
  • Module 4: Liveware – Hardware (Controller-Equipment Relationship)

  • Module 6: Liveware – Liveware (Interpersonal Relations)
  • Module 7: Liveware – Environment (The Organisational Environment)

Remarks

  • Delegates should be proficient in English to the Operational Level (L4)
